Modex

Modex is a DeFi ecosystem built on a business-grade blockchain network that ensures interoperability and trust. The Modex Network aims to provide a solid platform for many applications that want interconnection in a secure and regulated decentralized finance ecosystem. To meet the modern demands of scalability, security, and interoperability, the fundamental components of Modex are created in close collaboration with enterprise and international partners.

The decentralized governance of all interrelated tools, modules, and frameworks is controlled by the Modex BCDB (blockchain database), which remains at the very center of the entire ecosystem. Tendermint core is the blockchain engine used by Modex BCDB, with several tweaks and layers. The Modex Network aims to provide several features (traceability, integrity, and security) and components (encryption engine, smart contracts, and processing infrastructure). All of these levels are designed to help provide interoperability across three basic sub-networks:

The MODEX token is a decentralized asset that fuels the ecosystem's economy and sits in the middle of all technical and business processes. The token is classified as a multi-purpose utility token from a financial standpoint because its objective is to establish a macro-economy of related, interdependent, and interconnected micro-economies.

Modex was launched by a group of entrepreneurs with enthusiasm for innovative technology and a mission of bringing blockchain's potential to the public. The names of the cofounders of Modex are Mihai Ivascu (CEO), Alin Iftemi (GM), Dragos Rautu (CTO), and Laura Manescu (CDO).
