Ramifi Protocol was launched on March 30th, 2021, by founders Kyle Forkey and Kyle Kahlenberg. Forkey, the lead smart contract developer, is also a founding member of Ethmint, a financial organization that offers blockchain and smart contract development services and consultation. Kahlenberg, the project manager and co-founder, co-founded Helius Financial, a platform that utilizes fractionalized crowd-funding with the help of blockchain technology.
