Overview

About Blast (BLAST)

Blast is an Ethereum L2 that offers native yield for ETH and stablecoins. Blast’s native ETH yield comes from staked L1 ETH yield, which is transferred to rebasing ETH on the L2. Yield for USDB, Blast’s automatically rebasing stablecoin, comes from MakerDAO’s on-chain T-Bill protocol. BLAST is the governance token of the Blast L2. BLAST holders can use their tokens to participate in governance of the DAO.

BLAST, also known as SafeBLAST, is a unique cryptocurrency that operates as both a utility and a deflationary token across multiple blockchains. As a utility token, BLAST aims to be used for direct payment for goods and services where it is accepted globally. On the other hand, as a deflationary token, it operates under an Autonomous Yield and Liquidity Generation Protocol. This means that every time BLAST tokens are transferred, bought, or sold on platforms like PancakeSwap, the total supply decreases. This dual functionality of BLAST seeks to provide a dynamic and versatile approach to cryptocurrency usage.

BLAST operates on a unique mechanism that combines utility and deflationary aspects. Every transaction involving BLAST tokens, whether it's a transfer, purchase, or sale, results in a reduction of the total supply. This process takes place on PancakeSwap, a platform that operates on the Binance Chain (BNB Chain). Additionally, each transaction generates a passive reward distribution for all token holders on the BNB Blockchain. However, it's important to note that there are no buy or sell taxes on centralized exchanges or Uniswap, and therefore, no reward distribution. The reward distribution is exclusive to wallets on the Binance Chain.

BLAST strives to serve as a versatile cryptocurrency with a wide range of potential use cases. As a utility token, it aims to be used for direct payments for goods and services where it is accepted, providing a decentralized payment option for users worldwide. As a deflationary token, it seeks to offer a unique investment opportunity where the value of the token could potentially increase as the supply decreases. Additionally, the passive reward distribution mechanism of BLAST could potentially provide an additional incentive for holding the token.

The history of BLAST is rooted in its unique approach to cryptocurrency. It was designed as both a utility and a deflationary token, aiming to offer a versatile solution in the cryptocurrency market. The token operates on multiple blockchains and uses an Autonomous Yield and Liquidity Generation Protocol to decrease its total supply with every transaction. This approach is intended to create a win-win situation for BLAST holders as the limited circulating supply could potentially lead to value growth due to supply and demand dynamics.

How Blast (BLAST) and Indian Rupee (INR) differ

BLAST, also known as SafeBLAST, is a unique cryptocurrency that operates as both a utility and a deflationary token across multiple blockchains. It aims to be used for direct payment for goods and services globally, while its deflationary nature means that every time BLAST tokens are transferred, bought, or sold, the total supply decreases. This dual functionality of BLAST seeks to provide a dynamic and versatile approach to cryptocurrency usage. On the other hand, the Indian Rupee (INR) is the official currency of India, regulated by the Reserve Bank of India, and is used for all traditional financial transactions within the country. Unlike BLAST, the supply of INR is not deflationary and is controlled by the central bank. Furthermore, while BLAST operates on a decentralized network, INR operates within a centralized financial system. Lastly, while BLAST transactions can generate passive rewards for all token holders on the Binance Chain, INR transactions do not offer such benefits.
