Introducing Zero-Fee Onramping and Offramping for USDC

Moving between fiat and crypto shouldn’t be expensive. That’s why we’re excited to announce that Coinbase Developer Platform’s Onramp and Offramp integrations now provide zero-fee onramping and offramping for USDC.
How It Works
With Coinbase Developer Platform (CDP), developers in need of fiat on/off-ramps for their products can easily integrate Coinbase’s Onramp and Offramp infrastructure into any app they are building with just a few lines of code. The Onramp and Offramp integrations provide a quick and seamless way for your users to buy and sell crypto using fiat currencies without leaving your app.
While many ramp providers carry fees of up to 4.5% to buy and sell USDC using fiat currencies,* developers integrating Coinbase’s Onramp and Offramp solutions can provide their users with 0% fees on all USDC on/offramps. Thus, making it more affordable and attractive for new users to onboard onto their apps.

Stablecoins are an excellent avenue for onboarding new users into the crypto ecosystem. USDC is a leader in the stablecoin ecosystem. Unlock Zero-Fee USDC in Your App
If you already have CDP’s Onramp and Offramp integrated into your applications, your users automatically have access to zero-fee USDC on/offramping.

Visit Coinbase Developer Platform and login using your Coinbase account credentials (or create an account if you don’t have one).
Create an API key, if you haven’t done so already.
